Our goal for this website is to provide Holmes scholars and alumni with an information and communication outlet, and through this, to develop a stronger scholar community.  On this site Holmes scholars will be able to find information about current and past program events, search for jobs, find long lost colleagues and friends, share their experiences and opinions with the Holmes scholars community, and communicate with the Holmes Scholars Central office.

 The Holmes Scholars Program is jointly managed by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), and the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GWU-GSEHD).  The management and coordination of the daily operations of the Scholars Program takes place at AACTE. We aim to provide mentoring, academic, and career guidance to Scholars on a regular basis through print and electronic media.

 We are very excited about moving the Holmes Scholars Program forward, and increasing the number of Scholars in the profession.  Moreover, we look forward to working with Scholars, and with all the members of the Holmes Partnership community.
